New StrainMatic® model M4/60 zoom
The new StrainMatic M4/60.13 zoom is equipped with a 4x telecentric zoom lens and features an increased lateral resolution of 10 µm. In addition to magnification and aperture also the working distance can be adjusted motor-driven, resulting in an exceptionally high flexibility.

New StrainMatic® model M4/160 stepper
The new StrainMatic M4/160.42 stepper was developed specially for fast and high-resolution measurement of stress birefringence in optical materials such as i-line glass, fused silica and CaF2.
The high lateral resolution and the exact sample positioning system with automatic stitching enables the precise measurement of even the finest structures in small and large size specimens such as lens blanks for microlithographic applications.

New StrainMatic® model M4/50
The new StrainMatic type M4/50 features a distortion-free FOV of 40 x 30 mm² and a lateral resolution of 0.06 mm and thereby enables a precise analysis of internal stresses in small-format objects. The main applications are the measurement of residual stresses in glass tubes, pharmaceutical packages and light bulbs as well as the characterization of optical materials and components.

BatchMaker® Suite 2008 and BatchMaker® Express 2008
The new version of our standard software BatchMaker Suite for batch calculation and glass development offers new calculation models for 15 glass and melt properties as well as numerous detail improvements. BatchMaker Express provides the most important functions of BatchMaker Suite in a simplified user interface.

New StrainMatic® model M4/130
The new StrainMatic M4/130 type has been developed especially for the birefringence analysis of optical materials and components. The distortion-free FOV of 100 x 75 mm² and the high lateral resolution of 0.16 mm enables e.g. the precise analysis of the homogeneity and the fast detection of micro-defects.

New PRISMA release 2008.1
In addition to numerous detail improvements the new version of our colorimetric software PRISMA offers a new device driver for direct control of HunterLab® UltraScan spectrometers. It also enables the manual entry and conversion of color values.
